“Would you add your voice to ours so that the Uyghur Turks do not share the destiny of American Indians or millions of innocent people uprooted from Africa and sold as slaves?”
Children’s Foundation, Children’s Embassy of the World, and World Solidarity for East Turkestan has released “A Call to the World in 40 Languages for Justice in East Turkestan and Everywhere Else Where Innocence is Slain.” The call has been announced to the United Nations affiliated organizations, human rights organizations, and representatives of embassies and consulates in Turkey, as well as national and international media.
The Main Theme of the Call: “Ethnic and Cultural Genocide”
The call, aiming to inform the World of the ethnic and cultural genocide perpetrated by the People’s Republic of China in East Turkestan since 2016, puts the cries of East Turkestan into words as thus: “While the WORLD grows so terribly with pain; While the unanswered questions increase in number; We do not make our voices heard, And cannot look in the eye of our human brothers. As big as the WORLD has become in 2021, the name of our loneliness is East Turkestan.”
The call made in 40 languages asks the countries, “Is it that hard for you to breathe? Is it dangerous to call your brother by name? What is the meaning of life when your house is a detention house, and the guard is Chinese?” It was also declared on behalf of humankind that “With all its partners, openly and in secret, China is perpetrating genocide. Are you ready to establish a line of defense for humanity in the world atlas, irrespective of civilization, place, time, language, faith, culture and country?”
The 40 Languages of the Call for Justice in East Turkestan
“A call for justice in East Turkestan and everywhere else where innocence is slain” is released in the following 40 languages:
Albanian, Arabic, Armenian, Azerbaijani Turkish, Bosnian, Bulgarian, Chinese, Czech, Dutch, English, French, Gagauz, Georgian, German, Greek, Hindi, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Kazakh, Korean, Kyrgyz, Latin, Macedonian, Malay, Mongolian, Nogai, Persian, Portuguese, Russian, South Azerbaijani Turkish, Spanish, Swahili, Tajik, Tatar, Turkish, Turkmen, Urdu, Uyghur, and Uzbek.
Statement by Mustafa Ruhi Şirin, the Spokesperson for the Children’s Embassy of the World, East Turkestan Solidarity, and Founder of the Children’s Foundation (Turkey), for the call made in 40 languages:
“The world’s human deficit will increase and worsen if the Humanity Defense Line cannot be constructed for every site where innocence is destroyed. We must decide what kind of world we will hand down to our children, those already born and are yet to be born. For a world where hearts are closer to each other, we must first make our voices heard by the innocent.”
